The warrior is the most distinguished career in the Askellian society. Only the strongest and most fierce warriors are accepted into the Askellian Military, which is massive. The Askellian Protector Fleet is a widely respected military machine. Thier fleet consists of huge Magnar Class Battlecruisers, Fenri Class Destoyers, and Inces Class Carriers, which each carry 100 Fang Class Fighters. Although the fleet is not huge compared to the Klingon or Cardassian Fleets, it is twice size that is needed to defend the small Askellian territory.
 The Askellian foot soldiers are known as some of the fiercest warriors in the galaxy, and are widely sought after as bodyguards and bounty hunters. They train for 2 years with Knife and Spear before ever touching a Phaser rifle. After 5 years in the field, an Askellian warroir may be transfered to a War Ship. 
 The Askellian weapons are also widely sought after. Askellian War spears are custom made to fit the needs of the individual warrior and are considered a badge of honor among warriors. An Askellian warrior is never seen without his War spear. Askellian fighting spears bring a hefty price on the black market, due to the fact that to possess one, you would have to kill an Askellian to get your hands on one. The Askellian Pulse Phaser Rifle is also a popular weapon, it has a compact design, enabling it to be easily used in thick brush and its light weight does not slow down a warrior on the charge.
