BACKGROUND:
 Lokar was born in the Trilista Colony, where his parents met. Lokars father, Brogh was the first and only member of the Black Claw pack to leave the home world of Askel. Brogh left and joined the Starfleet Marines after a dispute with his father,Torath. Lokars mother, Arianna, joined the Starfleet enlisted corps shortly after her parents were killed in a shuttle accident. Lokar spent the first 7 years of his life in the Trilista Colony, where his father tried to teach him to be a warrior. At age 7, Lokar was sent to live with his Grandfather on the Askellian home world. Lokars grandfather was known as a radical because he believed in the old ways of society and refused all technology. Lokar spent the next 11 years living the life of the pack, learning how to track and kill his prey, fighting using spear and knife, and living off the land with no use of modern technology. Then at the age of 18, Lokar moved back to be with his parents, who both had been re-assigned to a Marine outpost on the Klingon border. Lokars father then returned to teaching him the ways of modern warfare. Due to the vicinity of the ouptost, Lokar interacted and learned a lot about Klingon culture and language.
 At the age of 20, Lokar had made up his mind that he wanted to see the rest of the galaxy and joined Starfleet.  He considers the crew of each ship he has served with as his new "Pack" and would willingly lay down his life for any of them. Lokar also takes a mate, a Vulcan female aboard the USS Gemini named Slavek.
 During a mission Lokar was kidnapped off of the Gemini and submitted to torture and brainwashing by an unknown organization, which used Lokar to kill 3 Romulan Ambassadors. After Starfleet found about the deaths, Lokar was demoted to Gunnery Sergeant and transferred to the SSS Viking. After it was proved that Lokar had not committed the murders, Lokar is reinstated to Officer statis and transferred to the SSS-Dujroj.
 Lokar commanded the USS Midway for 8 months, where his ship was assigned to escort and defense duties of the newly discovered wormhole that connected the Beta and Delta quadrants. After a terrible battle with the Borg, the USS Midway was destroyed and Lokar took an extended leave from Starfleet and returned to his homeworld of Askel until he was asked by the Askellian Government to become an Ambassador for his homeworld. Lokar tried his best to be a politician, but gave up the post after only 2 months and returned to the job his was the best at, Security Chief, and is now assigned to the USS Endeavour.

MEDICAL-HISTORY:
 Lokar was born 3/4s Askellian and 1/4 Human. Lokar's mother was Half Human and Half Askellian and his father a full blooded Askellian. Lokar has mostly Askellian biology except for the following:

-Human eyes with normal human eyesight
-Most of Lokar's brain is human,except for the Askellian Blood Rage Gland ( which acts like an oversized, over active Adrenal gland)
-Human respiratory system
-Human Liver and Gall Bladder

Medical Timeline:

2383: Lokar broke several ribs while killing an 800 lb. Duran.
2385: Lokar broke his right arm and sustained several deep lacerations to his neck and chest, bringing him very close to death, after an attack of a 400 lb. Morq.
2390: Lokar again sustained several lacerations to his neck and chest after a feud with a rival pack.
2399: Lokar is bitten by an unknown poisonous alien creature.
2399: Lokar is tortured and brainwashed to kill 3 Romulan Ambassadors and suffers severe pyschological damage.

Lokar has several deep scars on his neck and chest from various fights and battles. He has also broken almost all of his ribs at one time or another.

OTHER NOTES:
 Lokar strives to be the perfect warrior. Whether he armed or barehanded, Lokar is a lethal opponent. Fortunately for Starfleet, one of the human characteristics that Lokars mother passed on to him was a human thought process which keeps his Askellian temper in check. Lokar is a very quiet person, not being one to engage in idol chitchat. He prefers a quiet evening in his quarters to spending time in the common areas socializing. Lokar does, however, understand the need to interact socially with his shipmates though, and will occasionally attend social events or eat his meals in the common areas. Due to his quiet nature, Lokar doesnt make friends very easily, but once a friend is made, he is fiercely loyal to that friend. Lokar is also aware that his appearance unsettles many humans that he meets ( which is an asset of intimidation in the field of Security ) and strives to ease peoples minds by being polite and showing his human side.
